Current Research:
My current research projects involve large epidemiological datasets such as the Bogalusa Heart Study, the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), and the Pennington Center Longitudinal Study (PCLS).

Other Research Interests:
* BMI-specific metabolic risk: prediction from childhood to adulthood; associations with carotid intima media thickness * Lifestyle activities: time and steps spent in lifestyle activities; relationship to metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular risk factors * Body Composition: gender, ethnic and age differences in the association between anthropometric measures and specific abdominal fat depots
