Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge Louisiana invites applicants for postdoctoral fellowships (you must be a US citizen or green card holder) on their NIH Institutional Training Grant entitled Obesity: From Genes to Man. Fellowships provide up to three years of funding for training in laboratory skills and coursework necessary for establishing an independent research career.
Individuals recently graduating with their Ph.D. whose thesis topic was directly relevant to genetic, molecular, physiological or behavioral aspects of obesity and who are interested in pursuing research that transcends traditional boundaries of their research area. Individuals with up to 3 years postdoctoral training experience in genetic, molecular, physiological or behavioral aspects of obesity who wish to expand their research focus to include another area of obesity research.
