Quality Improvement Project Coordinator
The Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a research facility of the Louisiana State University System, seeks to hire a Quality Improvement Program Coordinator. The Quality Program Coordinator will assist in the effective and expeditious completion of all regulatory requirements associated with LSU ICON projects to include IBC and IRB applications and reviews, maintenance of documents, and coordination of reports. The position will also assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of all Resident Projects to include assisting in protocol development, regulatory compliance and manuscript preparation. The job requirements for the Quality Program Coordinator include (1) Coordination and completion of the regulatory compliance duties associated with all Quality Improvement projects, (2) working with the Resident Investigators and Principal Investigators in the development of protocols and supplemental documents associated with each Quality Improvement project, (3) completion of reports and maintenance of records associated with the status for all LSU ICON Pilot, Intramural and Resident Projects.
Bachelorâ€™s degree required; Masterâ€™s degree preferred. At least two yearsâ€™ experience in research or quality improvement with some experience in the healthcare field preferred. Working knowledge of the IRB process and protocol development is highly preferred. Strong technical writing skills are required.
