Description:
The Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a facility of Louisiana State University System, is seeking to hire 2 highly organized, articulate and self-driven individuals to fulfill the role of Clinical Research Specialist. This individuals will be part of a dynamic and expanding research team in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Women's Health Laboratory. The overall responsibility of this position is to assist in the management and organization of clinical research studies within the laboratory. Daily duties will be dedicated to support several National Institute of Health funded trials that involve metabolism, insulin resistance, lifestyle intervention, and women's health.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Nutrition, Psychology, Health Promotion, Pre-Med or equivalent. Experience with administrative responsibilities, data analysis and working in multidisciplinary teams is preferred. Additionally, the successful applicant must exhibit excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook is required.
