The department of Preventive Medicine at Pennington Biomedical Research Center is offering a non-paid trainee opportunity available to an undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate college student with an interest in lifestyle interventions.

Interventions may consist of weight loss, exercise, lifestyle changes and medication. Populations include participants with chronic conditions, elderly, obese, etc. Trainee will learn about exercise interventions for clinical research trials; trainee will gain diverse exposure and experience to clinical studies, protocols and implementation.

Trainee may earn up to 3-6 hours of curriculum credit; student enrollment requirements apply.
Preferred Majors:
Kinesiology, Biological Sciences, Nutrition, Pre-Med, Health Promotion or related majors
Areas of Interest:
Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Nutrition, Pre-Med
