CALCULATORS

Adherence Calculator
This calculator predicts changes in weight allowing for varying degrees of dietary adherence.  The model behind the software incorporates random fluctuations in intake using a stochastic term for energy intake which goes above and below the target prescribed intake.

Weight Loss Predictor
This applet will predict your daily weight loss.

Gestational Weight Gain Calculator
This calculator predicts weight gain during pregnancy resulting from changes in caloric intake. Adjust trimester energy intake to view model predicted weight gain (blue curve).

Obesity Prevalence Calculator
The calculator predicts time-dependent changes in overweight and obesity prevalence by formulating how populations interact and move between BMI classes. Although the default parameters are set using 1993 United States prevalence data, the model can be applied to other countries or specific regions by changing model parameters.

Body Roundness Calculator
The calculator calculates the roundness of your body shape from your height and body circumference. A graph of body shape (black) resulting from user input is shown along a reference healthy body shape range (shaded green) for personalized health assessment.  Predictions of total percent body fat and visceral adipose tissue (commonly referred to as belly fat) are also provided by this calculator.

Single Subject Weight Change Predictor
These programs allow users to view the validated dynamic model weight change predictions in response to changes in dietary intake or low doses of exercise. Weight graphs are automatically rescaled with print-ready capability.

Multi Subject Weight Change Predictor
This program allows investigators to simultaneously simulate the validated dynamic model for as many number of subjects as Microsoft® Excel will allow (~65,000).
