Current Research:
Dr. Marlatt's current research explores the effect of nightly moderate hypoxia on glucose tolerance in type 2 diabetics, as well as therapeutic strategies to raise insulin sensitivity post-menopause. Her future goals are to explore the realm of healthy aging and metabolic health as it relates to women and the transition through menopause.

Other Research Interests:
Intervention strategies to treat and prevent obesity and type 2 diabetes.
